JCRI Guidelines for Abstracts

On a single page in the same document as the submission form, authors of notes or articles submitted to the journal should provide an abstract. (If submitting a case, please see Guidelines for Case Synopses above.)

Title:
On the top of the page, type the title of the note or article exactly as written in the Submission Form: Centered, bolded, and fully capitalized in one or two lines. Do not underline.

Leave one blank space after the title.

Type the authors' names and affiliations, centered but not in bold. For multiple authors, use the ampersand (&) and avoid replications of affiliations by grouping authors per organization. Leave one blank space after the last line of the authors and affiliations. For example:

Robert Johnson, City University & Susanne Smith, Western College

CONDUCTING PRIMARY RESEARCH:
CHALLENGES OF THE WIDGET INDUSTRY

Susanne Smith, Western College

Abstract: 
If applicable, indicate what case title(s) the note or article could be paired with. If the note or article is not intended to be used with any specific case, type N.A.

Author Statement with standard wording and contact information:
Provide a statement using the standard wording below, indicating the name(s) of the copyright holder, and the contact name and information. Use a size 10 Calibri font.
